How is 'Paid Traffic' determined?

The following types of page views count as 'Paid Traffic':

• utm_medium in landing page query string with a value of one of the following: cpc, cpm, paid-media, cpa, ppc or cpv
  
• adurl or gclid in landing page query string
  
• utm_source=bing in landing page query string
  

The best way to ensure that your own paid traffic gets detected correctly is to set up your campaign so that e.g. utm_medium=cpc appears in your landing page url on your site.
